Good. It is an obvious grift by a grifter, I would expect them to mod it in the same way one would a meme stock or Ponzi scheme. Do not feed the grift machine with attention.
How did you come to the conclusion that being that wealthy was because of intelligence? Elon has been at the right place at the right time to compound capital through luck, connections, and selling ideas in return for purchase of equity.
Most YC companies fail in some way. 90% of startups fail. Were those founders not smart? I think the majority are/were, they just were not lucky enough [1] [2] [3]. If your belief system and mental model cannot internalize that the deciding factor is luck over skill, well, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ [4] [5]. Review the data, update your priors and improve the mental model to more closely align to reality.

I'm happy because I know what enough is and what is meaningful in life, and even as a trillionaire, Elon will still be miserable. I spend my time on work that I enjoy, as a very curious person who loves to solve puzzles, and I get paid enough for my life to be very comfortable and help others financially.
I live my life in a way that the world does not cheer on my demise, and my own children do not despise me. But heh, enjoy the magic numbers in the brokerage account. Perspective is important. Be intentional about how you will measure you life. "You can't hurt my feelings, I'm loved."
I’m am not jealous at all. Congrats to those with a lottery ticket that paid out, genuinely. I commented because I love HN, despite all of its flaws, but have a disdain for Elon fanatics who ignore his poor performance as a human (of which the evidence and facts are substantial as logged in the historical record).
It’s just money, which is easy to say when you have enough. What would extra millions buy? Certainly not love, nor the respect of good people. A supercar? A house in the Bay? I would still enjoy a coffee, posting here chatting with others, and experiencing life as I do today. More wealth would in no way change my life materially. But to those who win lottery tickets, use your winnings for something that brings you joy.

HN is blocking it because they believed that X was going to fail in 2022 and could never admit that they were incorrect and could not stand the success of the SpaceX IPO.
This seems... obviously false:

By being clearly envious because the employees at SpaceX (4K+) got rewarded and you didn't?
You could have ignored this post, but here you are commenting about it and posting schadenfreude over it.
It's okay to be a bit jealous of the employees who took that risk and made a fortune.

The envy here is astronomical.
That's definitely something that is happening, yep.
