It's less dangerous but man oh man did my life improve when I quit. I now wake up refreshed, my cognition seems sharper and my sleep now generates dreams again, which I suspect is cognitively healthier. I would very much like to see improved education about the various downsides of using this less dangerous drug, as I'm sure lives would be improved by less usage and moderate recreational use instead of habitual overindulgence which was my error.
I have a hard time falling asleep... my mind races constantly. About everything. Anything. Could be random stuff, not just stress. I dream constantly, thank god they are rarely nightmares. I don't smoke it makes me paranoid. I think I need to try a sleep study.
Talk to a neurologist for a sleep study. But, first try reading a book ~1 hour before bed.
The racing mind is often your brain continuing to think/work on the day's problems. Using a screen (phone/tablet, computer, tv) right before bed has been proven to keep your mind active. Switch to something not involving a screen to allow your brain to wind down before falling asleep.
This is the only good thing you can think of in 5 years of office? No matter what side you are on, that's sad... not taxing tips, social security are 2 that I can think of that are recent. I'm not sure who couldn't agree with that.
Pretty much yes. I found only one promising statement in his 2016 runup - that he could buy politicians, essentially surfacing US's saturated levels of institutional bribery. ref:https://archive.fo/UdzO1
I thought it was the most honest statement I could remember from a politician. FF to now and the executive branch is/has been openly, loudly selling deep direct access to every possible inch of federal power. It's corruption without parallel.
So yeah. I can't think of one thing in 5 years of office. Maybe it's the ongoing massive campaigns of brutish cruelty that has my attention. Or maybe it's how some large % of the US population is increasingly turned on, the more unethical his behavior is. It's one of those or maybe it's one of the other endless competing calamities.
I am sad. I can't think of a single good thing that has been accomplished by the current administration. Not in its first year here and now, or in the previous four years (with training wheels and pandemic).
I would welcome a generous reassessment by a fair reporter: Is there a list of accomplishments somewhere? Some solid map of milestones?
Not the blathering superlatives of self-aggrandizement as displayed in the recent subhumane Rob Reiner TDS takedown, but a real list of genuine positive accomplishment that we can all agree on and comfort ourselves with when the night gets long and the darkness grows.
I find it hard to believe that we've accomplished nothing but the chaos in those five years.

Kratom and/or Kava are often worth trying. My brain chatter is happy and cheerful but those help tamper it down.
White noise and weighted sheet (not sure about the translation here) fixed that for me. Also, infusions without sugar.
The only good thing this clown has ever done for America. It's a weird day to be agreeing with the orange man.

I don't agree with not taxing tips. Income is income. Why isn't my bonus tax-free? That's basically a tip.
Not taxing tips is terrible policy. Why privilege that one form of income over others?
Overtime is not taxed now either. There's a lot of good tax policy that will impact low and middle-income families.
